From the airport to the Fraunhofer Institute FOKUS

The airport Flughafen-Tegel (TXL) is located approx. 5 km from FOKUS. Take the express bus (line X9) to bus stop S+U-Bhf Jungfernheide. There you change to bus line M27 (direction S-Bhf Pankow). Leave the bus at bus stop Goslarer Platz. You can also take a taxi, it costs about 10 EUR (one way).

The airport Flughafen-Schönefeld is located approx. 30 km southeast from the center of the city. There is the S-Bahn service S45 that will bring you in approx. 50 min to the station Jungfernheide (direction Gesundbrunnen). At Jungfernheide you have to change to Bus M27 (direction S-Bhf Pankow). Leave the bus at bus stop Goslarer Platz. In fact, it is possible to take a taxi, but we do not know the price you will have to pay. It might come close to 40,00 EUR.

The airport Flughafen-Tempelhof is about 5 km from FOKUS. Take the U-Bahn (U6, direction Alt Tegel) change at station Reinickendorfer Str. to bus line M27 (direction S+U-Bhf Jungfernheide). Leave the bus at bus stop Goslarer Platz. A taxi ride costs about 15,00 EUR.

From the Railway station to the Fraunhofer Institute FOKUS

If you arrive by train from the west, you should leave the train at station Berlin Zoologischer Garten which is located in the center of the city. Almost all train from the west have a stop here. At Zoologischer Garten you take the U-Bahn U9 (direction Osloer Str.) and change at Turmstr. to bus line M27 (direction S+U-Bhf Jungfernheide). Leave the bus at bus stop Goslarer Platz.

If you arrive from the east or south you may arrive at Berlin Ostbahnhof. Then you change to the S-Bahn (S3, S5, S7, S75 or S9) which brings you to the station Zoologischer Garten. At Zoologischer Garten you follow the description given above.

Some trains stop at Berlin Lichtenberg only. In this case you take the S-Bahn (S5, S7 or S75) to the station Zoologischer Garten and follow the description given above.
